Web Designer

We’re looking for a Web Designer to help us take our online marketing to the next level.

The Challenge

Love hands-on creative work? Are you a Web Designer looking to explore marketing ideas? Can you create compelling, cutting edge designs? We are looking for an eager designer to create effective, engaging digital marketing campaigns that get results.

As a Web Designer for ruby, you’ll join an elite team working on Ashley Madison.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, possess great communication skills, skilled at coming up with new concepts, and have an outgoing team-player attitude.

You will work closely with your fellow designers as well as Marketing, Communications, and Technology teams on projects that include responsive emails campaigns, mobile first landing pages, banners, and PR material.

As part of our Creative department, you will deliver memorable marketing campaigns that not only generate a positive ROI for the company but are also the topic of conversation amongst media outlets around the world.

Here’s what you’ll do

• Design compelling banners, competitive landing pages, microsites, and emails for both mobile and desktop
• Provide competitor analysis insights
• Ideate and work directly with stakeholders from marketing and communications
• Work with developers and other designers to implement campaigns
• Work with Marketers to A/B test and iterate concepts to optimize marketing campaigns
• Analyze and synthesize next steps/needed changes from user usage data such as heat maps or analytics

Here’s what you’ll need

• Passion for good user experience and design
• Strong grasp of design fundamentals: color, typography, spatial reasoning, hierarchy
• 2 plus years of experience with website design and email design
• Expertise in creating mockups for Mobile first websites and emails
• A high awareness of industry trends and design patterns
• Proficient with Adobe Suite of products and Sketch
• Experience optimizing user experiences for increased conversion
• Ability to work under little supervision
• Innovative problem solving skills
• Comfortable with adult material

• Video editing skills
• HTML/CSS coding skills
